The 3.25-inch French Knight chessmen are crafted from solid boxwood and sheesham (golden rosewood). They are polished with natural waxes, single weighted and have felted bases. They sit proudly on our mahogany and maple European chessboard.

Also included is a dark-stained birchwood case with a hinged lid for storing the chess pieces inside. The combination of these three products results in a beautiful chess set with a clear sense of quality and design. The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
